Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about DTF printing, custom gang sheets, individual transfers, ready-to-press designs, and custom shirts from 4K Stitch and Print in Alexandria, Louisiana.

What is DTF printing?

DTF printing means Direct-to-Film printing. Your artwork is printed onto transfer film, which can then be applied to apparel using a heat press. It’s a practical option for creating custom designs and apparel graphics.

What is a DTF gang sheet?

A DTF gang sheet is a print layout that combines multiple designs on one sheet. It lets you arrange your artwork together in a single layout for your project.

How do I build a custom gang sheet?

Open the Custom DTF Gang Sheet Builder, upload your artwork, and arrange the designs in the layout. You can resize, rotate, and position designs, then preview the sheet before adding it to your cart.

Can I put multiple designs on one gang sheet?

Yes. The builder is designed to let you upload and arrange multiple designs together. Review the complete layout before placing your order.

What file formats can I upload?

The product upload area accepts PNG, JPG, and SVG files. For gang sheets, a PNG with a transparent background is recommended for clean artwork placement. Check the upload area for the file size limit shown on the product page.

What makes a good file for DTF printing?

Use clear, high-resolution artwork and check that the design is sized and positioned as you want it. For artwork without a background, use a transparent PNG. Review your file and gang sheet preview carefully before checkout.

Do you offer individual DTF prints?

Yes. 4K Stitch and Print offers individual DTF prints with size options listed on the product page. Choose the option that best fits your design and project.

Do you sell ready-to-press transfers?

Yes. Browse the Ready to Press collections for available designs, including themed artwork for holidays, sports, schools, occupations, and more.
